What you'll do
in one adventurous week
Sign up for Open Week, spin the Topic Compass, and get a wonderfully ordinary random topic.
Use two of our "pokes" to get to know your topic from surprising angles and start following the questions that grab you.
Do research to go deeper into a burning question or a particularly fascinating aspect of your topic.
Take on a creative challenge and share your discoveries with the other Open Week Questers on our online platform.
Who can join?
Tweens, Teens & Families
LiD Quest is designed for kids from about 10 to 17, with some support from a parent. Kids as young as 8 could participate — with a bit of extra support from a parent. Parents are also welcome to join Open Week as learners too!

- Already enrolled? Come get started early — if you want. Open Week is optional, so if you skip it, you won’t be behind.
- Just curious about Learning in Depth? You’re welcome too. There’s no obligation to join the Fall cohort afterwards.
